JOHN AND WONHEE ARNDT
John and Wonhee Arndt founded Studio Gorm in 2007. In addition to designing functional objects for an international array of clients, they are both professors in the product design department of the University of Oregon.
From 2015 to 2018, John and Wonhee convened a "global collective of creatives exploring how design values are interconnected across cultures and time," to produce the project Furnishing Utopia.
Shaker Museum is delighted to welcome them back virtually, to share their insights about the enduring design principles which characterize Shaker material culture.
