JOHN AND WONHEE ARNDT

John and Wonhee Arndt founded Studio Gorm in 2007. In addition to designing functional objects for an international array of clients, they are both professors in the product design department of the University of Oregon.

From 2015 to 2018, John and Wonhee convened a "global collective of creatives exploring how design values are interconnected across cultures and time," to produce the project Furnishing Utopia.

Shaker Museum is delighted to welcome them back virtually, to share their insights about the enduring design principles which characterize Shaker material culture.

Register to join the meeting via Zoom on Friday, January 22, 2021 at 6:00 PM EST. You must register for the program to receive the link to join the meeting live, but a recording will be posted on this site at a later date.
